I’ll be direct about why I built this page: search “fix slow PC” and nine out of ten results are pushing some “PC cleaner” or “optimizer” tool that does nothing but nag you into a paid upgrade. I see the aftermath of that constantly in my shop — people who ran three different “cleaner” tools before bringing the machine to me, and none of them fixed the actual problem.

So here’s exactly how I keep this site different from that:

  • I don’t recommend registry cleaners, PC “optimizer” software, or any one-click fix tool. If a fix on this site requires downloading something sketchy, you won’t find it here — full stop.
  • I default to Windows’ own built-in tools first: Settings, Device Manager, Command Prompt, Event Viewer, System Restore, Windows Memory Diagnostic. Third-party tools only get mentioned when I’ve personally used them and they actually solved something built-in tools couldn’t.
  • Every fix is one I’ve run myself, on an actual Windows machine with the actual error — not something I’ve assumed would work based on reading about it elsewhere.
  • I run a real repair shop with a real physical address in Ullapara. If a fix I write about doesn’t hold up on real customer machines, it doesn’t stay published.

If you ever think something here is outdated, wrong, or steering you toward something it shouldn’t, message me directly. I’d rather hear about it and fix it than have it sit there being wrong.
